Motor Control Center Buyers in Augusta, GA

Augusta facility and construction teams call us when equipment is coming out and nobody wants to coordinate an electrician, a rigger and a hauler around one outage window. We are all three, and we pay you for the equipment on top of it instead of charging you to haul it away.

Motor Control Centers buyers serving Augusta

We treat Georgia as a single service area instead of a list of towns. That is why a single item in Augusta is still worth quoting — it gets added to an existing run between Atlanta, Douglasville and Savannah rather than priced as a dedicated trip.

The sequence is short. You send nameplate photos, a one-line diagram or just a list. We return a written itemized offer the same business day with a proposed removal window. On acceptance we survey access in Augusta — door widths, floor loading, dock, elevator, crane needs — then mobilize, lock out, disconnect, rig, load and sweep. Payment before the truck leaves.

Equipment

What we take out of Augusta sites

Complete MCC line-ups

Multi-section NEMA line-ups fully loaded with starters, back-to-back and front-only arrangements, with main breaker or main lug incoming sections. Allen-Bradley CENTERLINE, Square D Model 6, GE 8000 and Eaton Freedom line-ups all have deep aftermarket demand.

Buckets, starters and drives

Individual starter buckets from size 0 through size 6, reversing and two-speed units, VFD buckets, soft starters, feeder and lighting buckets, and the loose units sitting in your spares room. Buckets sell faster than line-ups and are the easiest MCC item to move.

Georgia specifics

Georgia work concentrates in two bands. North of Atlanta the carpet mills around Dalton, the poultry processing belt and the automotive and tire plants along I-75 and I-85 run heavy motor control centers and dry-type transformers that come out whenever a line is reconfigured. South and east, the Savannah port corridor and the logistics build-out behind it generate switchboards, panelboards and feeder cable. Georgia Power standardization programs add pad-mount transformers in quantity, and Atlanta itself sits close enough to everything that we rarely price a Georgia job around freight.

Common questions

Augusta questions

Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?

No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Augusta room is still partly live we phase the work.

How do you handle transformer oil in Augusta?

Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Augusta and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.

When do we get paid?

Before the equipment leaves your Augusta dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.

What if the equipment is old or has no test records?

We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Augusta equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.

Are you insured to work inside our Augusta facility?

Yes. We carry general liability, auto, workers' compensation and umbrella coverage, and we issue a certificate naming your entity as additional insured before crews mobilize to Augusta. We also complete vendor onboarding, background checks and site-specific safety orientation on request.
